Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) NEW Truck "Torque" Cam - Low Lift Towing Camshaft
Brand NEW cam design released by Brian Tooley Racing specifically geared towards GM Truck applications looking for a low lift drop in towing cam that can be used with the stock torque converter. This cam will allow for maximum power gains off idle and low in the RPM range - exactly what you're looking for with a heavier vehicle, especially for an application that still does some towing. This cams exact profile is proprietary to BTR, but the specs that have been released are listed below. With close to .500 lift on both sides, this cam will be able to be used with stock valve springs much like the popular NSR series cams. However, an upgraded drop in beehive spring kit is recommended for higher mileage applications or applications where spring wear is a concern.
