We have partnered with an OEM Tier 1 supplier to grind our Gen V truck camshafts. The end result is a camshaft that provides more average torque, higher peak power, and a maximum depth heat treatment. The maximum heat treat depth is achieved by having cam cores made within a few thousandths of final grind size, as opposed to grinding all the camshafts from the same starting core, they each have their own respective core to begin."

STAGE 2 SPECIFICS:

The Stage 2 grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or just add some pep to your trucks step. With great power gains and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with stock converters.

 

STAGE 3 SPECIFICS:

The Stage 3 grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or just add some pep to your trucks step. With great power gains and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with an upgraded torque converter. 

 

STAGE 4 SPECIFICS:

This unit is the culmination of extensive in-house Spintron testing, coupled with thorough vetting on our Superflow Engine Dynamometer. We have spent countless hours designing  some of the most stable, powerful lobes in the industry. These camshafts have been extensively tested against our competitors' designs , and have shown better valve train stability,  yet make more horsepower and torque as well . All this translates into better longevity , less valve train wear and tear and more power.

The Stage 4 grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or just add some pep to your trucks step. With great power gains and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with an upgraded torque converter. This camshaft WILL FIT WITHOUT FLYCUTTING! 

This 217 intake duration cam is BTR's largest recommended offering for a L83 with unmilled cylinder heads. With just simple bolt-ons this grind has made well over 500hp in a stock bottom end application. It's truly a marvel in its ability to perform well in such a mild application. By continuing to utilize the factory intalled VVT system, we were able to set the valve events where we like for stump pulling torque down lown while providing EXPLOSIVE top end power. In this sense, the end user truly has the best of both worlds.

The Gen V Truck Norris grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or to just add that aggressive idle everyone loves. With great power gains and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with stock converters.
