BTR is proud to introduce these new editions to our already impressive lineup of Gen V camshafts.

The new Gen V Turbo Stage 4  cam was designed to bridge the gap between street and strip applications. This camshaft is an excellent choice for higher-effort L83s and more aggressive LT 6.2s utilizing a wide range of different turbos.  Recommended for use with a single  S485 - S494mm or small twin 66mm - 72mm turbos. This camshaft offers an aggressive idle with great midrange and top-end capabilities.

Unlike other kits that require expensive aftermarket cam cores and timing covers to eliminate the VVT phaser & solenoid, we designed this kit to allow the use of a special cam sensor designed to work with the OEM timing cover available in our 3 BOLT VVT LOCKOUT KIT, which allows you to use this specially machined 3 bolt Gen V camshaft with an LS3 cam gear and retain the factory Gen V VVT front cover. Some wire connector trimming is required; see instructions. 

 

*Important Notes*

These kits fit 2014+ GM Truck (2015+ SUV) Gen 5 applications ONLY.  Will NOT fit '07-'13 Gen 4 applications!

The use of BTR dual spring kit is required due to high valve lift and increased rpm potential in combination with the L83's heavy OEM valves. We also recommend the use of hardened pushrods in power adder applications.

Requires the use of an aftermarket converter for best drivability and acceleration.

Includes a 38% fuel lobe and was designed to be locked out.
