DIRECT-FIT BOLT-ON Mishimoto Transmission Cooler for 1999-2013 GM Truck
These new direct-fit coolers from Mishimoto are an excellent option for guys who are looking to upgrade their OEM 99-13 truck transmission cooler, but wanting to retain the OEM transmission lines and avoid plumbing an aftermarket cooler such as the Tru-Cool 40k. The cooler accepts the OEM transmission lines, but also includes 6AN adapter fittings if you're looking to run our PTFE line set or plumb your own lines. Our PTFE line kit is compatible with this cooler directly, no modifications required.
NOTE: Does not fit models equipped with the Allison transmission (6.6L Diesel and some 8.1L Gas models). Intended for applications that have a factory installed transmission cooler. If your truck was not optioned with a factory cooler, you will need the OEM transmission cooler lines from a factory cooler optioned truck or will need our PTFE transmission line kit in order to complete install.

With a massive core that’s 521% larger than stock, and a 278% increase in frontal area, the Mishimoto transmission cooler adds significant cooling capacity to your truck whether you’re towing a heavy load, or low-speed driving on the trail. Internal fins and louvered external fins circulate cool air and fluid throughout the core for optimal heat transfer.
Included with the Mishimoto transmission cooler are precision-machined -6ORB quick-disconnects that connect directly to the stock lines, or can be removed allow the use of -6AN lines. They also include a relocation bracket for the ambient air temperature sensor to keep full functionality of your truck. An adjustable mounting bracket makes installing this transmission cooler a breeze in an hour or less.
