When doing a DOD delete it is a requirement to block off the DOD ports underneath the valley cover. These press-in style plugs (2019+ bolt-in) accomplish that task and are an alternative to using the DOD delete specific valley covers. They also can be used in conjunction with the DOD delete valley cover as a second line of defense in the event of an o-ring failure.Â
